The cutter behind the room

One editor, one suite, one obsession: stories that hold their audience from the first frame to the last.

About me

Passionate video editor and storyteller

I’m the founder and lead editor of Tidepool Cutting Room. For the past decade I’ve cut everything from thirty-second spots to feature-length documentaries, and every project gets the same treatment: a calm, methodical edit where rhythm, sound, and story lock together.

My suite is built for collaboration. You see rough cuts early, you give notes in plain language, and you always know what happens next. No jargon, no disappearing acts, just a finished film you’re proud to publish.

How I work

Three rules in the cutting room

STORY BEFORE STYLE

Effects serve the narrative, never the other way around. If a cut doesn’t earn its place, it goes.

SOUND IS HALF THE PICTURE

Dialogue, music, and room tone are mixed with the same care as the visuals, from assembly to master.

NOTES MAKE IT BETTER

Structured revision rounds turn good cuts into great ones. Your feedback shapes every version.

Toolkit

A suite built for finished films

  • Professional picture edit, color grade, and sound mix under one roof.
  • Licensed music and stock libraries cleared for commercial use.
  • Captions, trailers, cutdowns, and platform masters for every delivery.
  • Archived project files, so next season’s edit starts in hours, not days.
